apparently this specific design was brought up on the f-droid forum some months ago

and even the author of the current icon design said he is positive about doing a refresh

so...

the smallest you could ever think you should start from, think much much much much smaller than that

for example, think of something that would be easy for you

you may even be able to think of attempting to do that before the die event

"recommended", "discover", "you may be interested in" panels that you have to manually close one by one are spam

and it seems that banking apps are probably the worst offender

regardless of all discourse around it, the alternatives that have popularized, and the meaning behind all of them

just from a design perspective, this remains one of the best flag designs ever, and one of my favorites

succintly meaningful, elegant and the most effective at conveying the thing
