modern thinkpads are surprisingly frustrating to work with, especially because they seemingly don't support freshly installing windows out of the box. yeah no fuck you, you need lenovo's own tool to make a bootstick, and before that you need to register an account and do some bullshit on their website to even be able to select the laptop in the recovery tool, and only then you can reinstall windows. don't wanna do all of this, let alone give your info to lenovo? well go fuck yourself
