Having a physical accessibility panel available to escape room players so they can turn down background music or turn off flashing lights is a fantastic idea and I hope it spreads!

Steal this idea, folks!

I've played 133 escape rooms, and this may be my favorite thing out of any of them. It's an accessibility panel that gives players direct control over sound volume and flashing lights. (Plus it directs them to other accessibility options elsewhere in the room.) Bravo to 60 Out Hollywood!

To celebrate the Ides of March, I ordered three Caesar salads, but I only et tu.
Happy Rosh Hashannah to my fellow Jews, and happy Roshar Shana to my fellow Knights Radiant! #roshhashanah #brandonsanderson
I hate it when I'm trying to watch a news report on some mysterious phenomena, and I get distracted by ominous noises from my backyard. Ah, well. Guess I better walk outside with my poorly charged flashlight while repeating "Hello? Anybody there?"
Move slow and fix things.
I love this post by Eliza Wheeler on the research she did for WHAT ROSA BROUGHT. Her attention to detail is astounding. #kidlit #illustration #picturebooks

For AI, we are in full Stage 3, heading rapidly towards Stage 4.

The universal cycle of tech:
1. {THING} is impossible.
2. {THING} will be possible in certain specific circumstances.
3. {THING} is here! It can do anything! We're installing it in your fridge!
4. {THING} was a scam and will never be useful.
5. {THING} is useful in certain specific circumstances.

What I get from the words “old-fashioned” and “newfangled” is that at some point in history we stopped fashioning things and started fangling them, and we as a culture never recovered.
