Say hello to my little friend
So I've worked for years getting my MacOS AI vision algorithms that uses the camera to well on 10% CPU consumption @ 30 fps on a modern Macbook Pro, only to find that with Sonoma all of Apple's own neural networks suddently want to also peek into my video frames and quadruple the CPU consumption, EVEN IF I turn off all of the various effects in the tray menu. Thank you Apple. This image shows the "heaviest stack trace" from Apple's "Instruments" profiler even with all of the effects disabled.
