Have you ever discussed vacuum wars on rec/diffs? I am a casual listener and have just recently heard the dwellings on project farm. I would anticipate you find their reviews satisfactory but am curious if am missing something.

@TechConnectify most people in tech love to tinker but I do think thatt there is a place for items “that just work.”
It’s less and less common every year to find an appliance that “just works” so I do hope the open source community is able to capitalize on the available market for such devices.
I find it frustrating having to defend the idea that the previous service I used for a decade actually had some things I liked and would continue to like to see.

@kottke I thought I’d ask here if anybody knows but there was a website that had a bunch of the early algorithms of the internet including how digital autofocus worked with edge finding. Anybody have any ideas? A bunch of white papers if I remember correctly.
@siracusa it’s terrible. I can not figure out how to change just the contact photo either. I color code my contacts “Monogram” as they call it and they’ve changed all of the colors so now my old color scheme is not available. Super frustrating.
