First time growing black beauty eggplant, this is the most prolific plant out of ten. The rest have 0-1 fruits and are at most 1/3 the size. What’s your secret??

Walk-making the road. Harvesting the Sonoran desert rainwater to grow community foodscapes. Cooperatively manufacturing aid supplies.
Planted sweet potatoes two weeks ago— right before a heat wave. And they weren’t in the best shape when they were delivered from Kentucky. Eight out of 24 slips died but most of the remainders have established fine and are putting out leaves. I’ll definitely be growing my own slips next year. #garden #log
Sewed tepary beans yesterday after seeing Mission Garden started them with the rain last week. The recommendation is to sew with the monsoon rains, but who knows when/if that’ll happen.
One row brown, one row black. Trellised and mulched. Watering them in today with municipal water that was left overnight to off-gas.
