@Kurosetii it's chat control and even that is pretty critical for implementation, so you can count more likely with those whole 24 months
@Kurosetii + even if they allow chat control, you must count with approving of judical courts, publication in the Official Journal of the EU (+- few weeks, but count more likely start of the new year) AND RIGHT AFTER THAT the implementation phase would begin (they cannot launch it in less than 18 months and bcs this is controversal, I think they could use whole 24 months)

That would be a violation of retroactivity. That is a direct thing that the EU itself is building on and, above all, in the past, the Court of Justice of the European Union immediately rejected any even the slightest offers/mentions. And even if it's not encrypted messages, it would still violate retroactivity. Like chatcontrol said, I study cybersecurity and it would be really crazy and almost impossible in technical level. You have billions of chats.
@belladonnalily Thanks for the info... I'm just really scared. I think I've never been so scared in my entire life. Panic attacks bcs of chat control is pretty normal for me these days.
@belladonnalily I just hope it's not gonna include scanning old chats, but after I saw a lot of discussions and articles, it should affect only new messages after accepting law
@Kurosetii exactly! You just cannot implement new law on messages, that have been sended before the law has been officialy approved

@Kurosetii it just stress me so much. When I first heard about potential chat control in the beginning of summer (June maybe), I fell into 24/7 constant stress. It's destroying my sanity for real rn. Already thought about talking with some expert (psychology etc..)
