i feel like alot of light skinned/white passing latinx people ( like myself ) like to call themselves PoC and "coloured" or "brown" to put themselves in the conversation when in reality if it was me and my cousins or dad even , any of them , in a traffic stop , they would be questioned - not me . we need to remember that yes it's our culture and ethnicity but we aren't hindered just because of the colour of our skin and we need to stay in our place
