Models are predicting 1.3-2 M deaths in China over the next couple of months as it relaxes #COVID restrictions.

I believe it will be at least double that unless they immediately import an effective vaccine.

Factbox: How many people might die, and why, under relaxed China COVID curbs

China's abrupt end to its zero-COVID policy has raised concerns of widespread infections among a vulnerable, undervaccinated population with little natural immunity that would overload the health system and result in up to 2 million deaths, or more, various research groups are reporting.

Do I have any followers yet? I don't think I had any on Twitter - as I never used it.

We came up with a new term, combining this pre-bomb steel and the potential for AI to replace verbiage created entirely by humans:
"Low Background Literature"

This refers to anything written before the advent of ChatGPT or any computer -generated verbiage. (3 of 3)

We were also discussing the release of OpenAI's new ChatGPT, and the amount of writing that this platform can produce from a simple prompt. Also the. many out there freaking out, thinking it will replace an industry of Copy Writing throwing many out of work, as well as render teaching anything requiring a functional knowledge of writing pointless.
I suspect that AI -produced writings will not withstand the scrutiny of the sharp eye. For instance, when I write there are usually typos. (2 of 3)
