@BillReyor lol A combo day. My solution to that is if you're under extreme stress not to use social media.
Just literally go for a bike ride or something to get your head clear.
Focus on what makes you feel good rather than what people expect of you.
It's okay to be selfish sometimes.
@maldr0id I could go on but you don't care about information in infosec, clearly. You're just virtue signaling some shit you need to print out for some more views.
Why do you think you won't find me typically post in places more than what makes me personally happy?
To hell with all this social media, this ain't real.
I'm busy actually working to find pages with exploits or hosts with malware so that no one even gets to being infected in the first place.
I even gave you a APK sample to bring me back anything on relative to my threat hunting less than a week ago and you tried your best to avoid the post before taking on the task and then ghosting me.
So pathetic dude.
@maldr0id lol From what I can gather myself; most of the information that exists in infosec at this point, at least from where the majority of outsiders stand is just marketing crap.
How can you blame that person for their personal sentiment and observations towards irrelevant topics or ideas? They likely have a real passion for this where others just want to make money on it.
I'm not sure you figure people keep faith past seeing crap sell vs well known products or skill sets given a track record of proven success. That's just bad practices to any industry.
After you're here for a while it just becomes really dull and insincere; especially when they say sorry after getting hacked by kids in the most incredibly dumb way possible.
To speak on the information that does exist within all things that people know are relevant in infosec, well that's another entirely different story. Whilst we do live in the age of information the quality information is exclusive to the least people it's ever been whilst being the most expensive to those wishing to get in on it which presents it's own issues.
