I just got super nostalgic for my old 3rd Gen iPod Nano. No touch screen, data, ads just super crisp, satisfying haptics on that scroll wheel 🤤 and the music of my early teens

lol, just wanted to get in, make a quick content edit and get out. wp-login.php dead. 90 minutes later and I've figured out that the MFA plugin shit the bed, recovered access and setup new MFA plugin and auth.

I'm reminded why I don't do more self hosting. I wish I had more time and energy for it but some times its just admin on top of life admin.

lmao, at the bottom of Google's AI search slop is a foot note that anything above could be total bullshit.

Nice. Feels like that should be in 30pt bold underline at the top.

I raised a support case with Google Cloud because their docs and comms were ambiguous and my last ditch efforts to try throw Cluade at my problem was rife with hallucinations of non-exististant CLI flags.

Unsuprising as the flag alluded to but not actually specified in their comms was added to the the CLI in Nov 2024 so most likely outside the training data of any model.

The response from support came back explaining I need to use a similar looking flag ...which also doesn't exist in their CLI or docs 🤦 - presumably a hallucination of Gemini this time, of which large parts of the rest of the response carried the smell.

Now weighing up "let it cool for 10 minutes" vs "10 second rule"

mmm...fudgy

Mistakes were made
Claude took "Explain it like I am 5" a bit more literally than I expected.
More #PuppyPosting. Bella just wants her peace and quiet 😅

Until recently, I swore by Confluence because it's all I ever known and while, yes the search sucks, yes it can be clunky and slow it does the job and I have used it very effectively for years.

But part of what I love about switching jobs is exposure to new things, and the new (to me) thing that is making my heart flutter right now is notion.

That's a lie, I've used much much much worse wikis than Confluence, hence my comparative affinity for Confluence.
@iokiwi I regularly need to quietly scream inside at our confluence wiki. I do miss how easy mediawiki was to use.
