I'm mostly here to fuck around and talk about random shit that you probably don't care about. I love video games and cartoons. I'll occasionally draw stuff from time to time.

I'm also nonbinary and on the autism spectrum.
I'm also a fan of various pieces of media, including, but not limited to...
Super Mario

Sonic the Hedgehog

DOOM

Half-Life

South Park

Silent Hill

Life is Strange
Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss
Five Nights at Freddy's
Resident Evil

I went to that local retro game store again and got a pretty big steal. The games I bought sold for an average of 20-25 bucks which is cheap considering how stuff on the Nintendo GameCube is in high demand nowadays. Me being a Sonic fan, I got every GameCube game from the franchise that was available there in addition to some games that are considered essential to the GC. I have played five of the six shown here on Dolphin, but actually owning them and eventually playing them on their system of origin with no emulation feels awesome.

However, I've never played Wind Waker or any Zelda game with the exception of the first game on NES, and even then, I barely made progress there. Anyway, this puts my GC collection to 11 games; not much, but it's honest work. #retrogaming

Video game box art is something that I find to be criminally underrated nowadays. Back when I didn't have access to the internet, a game's cover was the most effective way to encourage me to (ask my mom to) buy a game. Cover art may not be that important nowadays with everything being digital and all, but I feel like a game simply listing information and screenshots on its digital page is missing the same magic that would come from an image being shown on a physical object. So, for those of who share an interest in video game covers, what are some of your favorite gaming box arts? Here's mine. #retrogaming

I think we can all relate to this to some extent.

(I haven't even touched two-thirds of it. Can you tell I'm suffering from post-backlog syndrome?)

How game publishers sleep after cancelling a near-finished game that a studio had worked on for at least half a decade:
I did some sketches featuring a handful of Resident Evil characters. My artistic abilities are, to be honest, below-average, but I still enjoy drawing because it's something that eases my anxiety and allows me to express my love for certain media beyond text.
Reminder that Street Fighter is canon in Mega Man X.
