In light of the blackouts in Cuba, US threats to stop power in Iran, Israeli strikes on Lebanon, and Russian strikes on Ukraine’s power grid, I will remind everyone that trying manually ventilate patients who can’t breathe for themselves is exhausting, technically challenging, and often fatally inadequate. It is very hard to sit there manually delivering 6 cc/kg of air with the right pressure, inspiratory time, and expiratory time, over and over again, for hours.

Yes, yes she does. Her med list reflects puberty blockers. Her medical history lists gender dysphoria. Her out patient notes clearly document her treatment. It’s almost like she is receiving excellent services and the treatment is working.

Honestly, this historic heat dome across the West is really hard to put into words for me. Temperatures over 110°F (43°C) in March, shattering all-time monthly records on multiple consecutive days, and not just by a little.

➡️ I can confirm this is human-caused climate change.
