Nej, det kan der selvfølgelig være noget om. Slack kan i det mindste hostes i EU, men det kræver også at man anvender en betalt udgave. Og da det markedsføres mod andre virksomheder, så er priserne nok ikke noget som en alm. boligforening gider at betale, når man kan få det “gratis” på FB.

Men med så mange husstande bliver det nok svært at gennemføre en ændring, da der nok er mange som deltager i andre Facebook grupper (mødregrupper, lokale “opslagstavler”, køb/salg, osv.), og nok gerne vil holde det hele samlet.

Man kunne også gå old-school med en mailingliste, men det kommer nok an på hvad det er for noget gruppe-kommunikation der foregår på Facebook i dag.

I started doing it because at some point many years ago, Youtube started to optimize their recommendation algorithms for maximum viewer retention. This led to more and more clickbait and drawn out videos in recommendations and homepage.

But on the subscription page, I know there will be a sea of quality videos to choose from, without having to sift through all the junk.

Plenty of text generation models can be run on consumer desktop/gaming hardware with fairly acceptable output. There’s probably also several models fine-tuned with uncensored data, that will spew any kind of propaganda you ask of it. Hugging Face hosts many publicly available models.

Or maybe ask for the shoe box to be full of a block of pure gold? Probably easier to sell and should have a value of about $18M.

The workers of the US really need unionize. Here in Scandinavia the average pre-tax income is closer to $84,000 with a 36-hour work week. We do however have a higher tax-rate, so that ends up at around $45,000 after taxes. Cost of living is also generally higher that the US. Of course that higher tax gives us free health care and education.
