Politics, both world and domestic. Yeah we make many memes, we crack punchlines and everything about politics. But, the reality of it is, is that - this is what is actually happening right now to all of us. Self-proclaimed “leaders of the world” are in positions of power, serving nobody but themselves and their cronies if they barely cared at all. “Oh, politics don’t affect me! why should I care to vote?” You know, it does affect you. Remember the time when you once paid for something that you swore was $1.50 and it’s now $4? That is in reflection of a corporation inflating the price because some politician allowed them to do so over some law that’s passed or a lack of regulation. That’s how much politics can affect you and it’s not a cool thing anymore to just shrug and ignore it all. Yeah you may not vote but if everyone doesn’t vote, then special elections are held and people are appointed to positions in power through whichever a number of the special voting group decides that they’ll get power and it’ll suck for all of us because that’ll just mean that their interests align strictly with the government’s interests. So yeah, politics isn’t something to make too much of a joke out of.

What kind of defenders can you not tolerate?

People who defend shoplifting from stores. I had a minor debate with someone who was pridefully going on about how we should steal from stores to affect the profits of the CEO and “The Man”. I had to inform them that stealing from stores won’t necessarily affect the payroll of the corporation. It will only harm the stores and the employees inside. Because each and every store is operating on a budget of their own and what they sell determines said budget. So if groups of people decided to steal from that store, sapping up the budget and hurting sales, then it’s going to hurt the pay of the people working there. Making shoplifters look both like an asshole and a dumbass in one.

Who are you always going to be rude to and why?

I’m rude to debt collectors who call me trying to collect debts from people who happen to once have had the same phone number as I once did. Like, I’m not who you’re trying to collect from, fuck off. I’m also rude to generally any scam caller, they’re some of the few people I take great pleasure in telling off because I can get away with it. They’re scammy assholes, what’re they gonna do? Cry to the authorities? Knowing that they’re pieces of shit who scam people out of money? Good fucking luck.

What simple thing do you enjoy watching that you'd get judged for?

I have a bit of a thing of watching Darts and sometimes professional bowling. Two things that are best described as ‘pub games’ but are treated as sports in some fields. I can accept the argument that it’s boring watching two dudes, literally, go in a circle as they throw 3 darts at a time, chipping at 501. And no I don’t watch full dart games, the most I can deal with is watching PDC highlights and those can go 10 ~ 30 minutes. I can’t fathom sitting for an hour or two for the full tournament of the same thing. But there is a zen like feeling I get that I relax by watching it happen. I also can’t wait to order a dartboard stand too so I can start throwing again.

What is a guilty pleasure that you do to liven up your day?

I’ve realized that lately, I’ve been watching a lot of them police bodycam videos on YouTube. It always makes me feel a little better about myself and some of the bad decisions I’ve made in life. I’m known to cave into bad impulses like bad spending and taking financial risks. But, I at least do not turn my life upside down as many have had in these bodycam videos. We’re talking, people who’re too damn prideful and full of themselves that they turn a simple traffic stop into multiple felonies. As well as people just making a shitshow out of themselves when they’re drunk and getting into struggles with the police. So the next time you’re feeling down, watch a few of these videos. Your life can’t be any more worse than the self-destructive lives demonstrated in those videos.

Dial Up. Yeah I know the sound and I know the time it took to load anything with. But it’s something I won’t ever miss having. I would much rather be on a 1MB connection if I had to choose between that or dial up ever again. I also hated how easy it was to be kicked off, if anyone called the phone, you were off it in seconds.

Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul - They were the backbone of Pantera and I won’t be told otherwise. We’re nearing 20 years since we’ve lost Dimebag and 5 years since we’ve lost Vinnie Paul.
