I keep seeing people saying they are happy to use AI text generators as sources of factual information, because they're confident that when the thing generates an inaccurate answer they'll easily spot it.
Speaking from my experience of 20+ years of professional fact-checking: the errors you can spot easily are not the ones you need to worry about.

...but that, despite it being 6 months since my last review, when I ask when the next will be he asks if I "like performance reviews", and then let's me know that the next one will probably not be any time soon.
So he can happily go around saying that he gives feedback and always let people know where they stand, while not doing so when he is asked about it.
My boss has managed to eat his cake and have it too through the simple process of gaslighting. Any time you ask for feedback he'll gladly let you know that there will be no shortness of feedback, but not really give you any feedback.
In an email he says that we'll have plenty of meetings and performance reviews to give feedback. In the meetings, he tells me that we have performance reviews for that, and, when asked about the next performance review he says we do one every 4 months...
