Been a long time since I posted. All of these were drawn before the Sally Face one, and the adventure time redraws. I just didn’t feel they were enough on their own. These were done while listening to music, and some of the palettes come from album cover art. Like the the purple one with the painting, comes from Electric Wizard’s “Come My Fanatics… [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Come_My_Fanatics%E2%80%A6]”, I didn’t listen to the whole album, just “Solarian 13”. Hey one of them comes animated! A picture of some giant skeleton deer god looking down at a tiny human below, also the god is engulfed in fire [https://files.catbox.moe/48knyn.gif] Still can’t figure out how to make pixelart look good when scaled :( My only fix for this is opening the image in a new tab.

2 years ago, back in the ye old days of ricing my dwm setup. I needed some Adventure Time icons, and so I did a bit of pixelart using GIMP. Suffice to say that since then there has been an improvement. Not only are the new ones more stylized and less noisy (Sorry old Finn), but they are more readable. Size: 16x16. Number of sprites: 32. This took about 5 hours, I worked on it, eeh, roughly for 3 days. I decided to not edit the old ones, so I can see improvement in the last ones, I also planned to do more, but I lost interest :( Also you can see how I copied and pasted the first one, did some minor editing, some characters really broke the format though. Can you guess them all? I sometimes can’t. Anyway the characters in order from left to right: *Inhales* 1. Random doodle that converged to Saul, as all things should. 2. Some demon. 3. Some goblin. 4. Some ninja. 5. Kratos from God Of War. 6. Vi from Arcane (I could not get the hair right, no matter how hard I tried) 7. Jinx from Arcane. 8. Jake from Adventure Time. 9. Finn from Adventure Time. 10. Marceline from Adventure Time. 11. Ice King from Adventure Time. 12. Madeline from Celeste. 13. Badeline from Celeste. 14. Malina from Helltaker. 15. Open in new tab to remove anti-aliasing, probably. This was done like a week ago, now I am sick of colors and doing 1 Bit pieces, I need to tidy them up and then post em.

Feedback is welcome! I tried doing that small sprite size thingy, where you have to choose ONE feature and let it consume the entire sprite, in my case it was her hair as I tend to see many artists do the same thing. I got really confused on her outfit though, and you can see that the sprite readability isn’t that great. Overall it was a fun experience.
