Have just discovered that the reason my name and password only worked on the app was that i was trying to sign into the wrong server everywhere else. Ugggh. Anyway, the Metatext app on iPhones is indeed much better.
I found this angelic pup abandoned in the woods 3 years ago and I am proud to say that in the time since, she has fully perfected her side eye.

Same as you can on Twitter.
Something like #Ukraine, for example
But on the search results, see that little user icon on the right? Click it and you'll follow it as if it's a user!
New posts with that tag will arrive in your home page, even if you don't follow the author yet
