@moopylonster It’s hit or miss, but I’ve had some luck generating Photoshop scripts for repetitive tasks (exporting web files at multiple qualities at once, in my case).

Also, the generative fill in Photoshop is genuinely useful for removing elements or extending images. It’s probably the only AI tool I am truly happy with. I do not want to diminish the expertise of pro photo manipulators, but for me, an hour of clone stamping is drudgery and generative fill pretty much replaces that for me.

@maxleibman Sounds like bug to me. You could raise a ticket about it and make sure that special someone is tagged. Enough passive aggression to get the point across, but enough plausible deniability to protect you in the future, maybe.

@DavidDarnes I’m excited for these! They’re not at my IKEA yet, though. I think they’re also all Thread devices. Do they use AA or AAA batteries? I’m trying to get away from tossing so many CR2032s. I’d love all my sensors to be powered by rechargeables.

@maxleibman Its obviously not RiscV, but I’ve had an SD card die in a seldom-used Raspberry Pi before. I think it’s odd that we’ve defaulted to SD storage for booting mini pcs, I don’t think it’s really up to the task. It’s convenient until it isn’t.

@hank Interesting, thanks for the footnote. It really feels like they’re putting their foot in the doorway so they can force it open later. I hate to be so pessimistic, but 20 years using Adobe products has left me pretty jaded.

@darice @adrian SE user here. Upgraded a week ago and my phone was immediately slower and laggy. And the difficulty of reading text on the glass elements is making me feel geriatric. It sucks.

@hank Requiring a Canva account is a big dealbreaker for me. And it’s free? I haven’t read the Canva TOS, but I’d bet money they sell your personal data. It’s all terribly sad.
