@ajcain This looks great. I think I've missed mins-doc.pdf in the repo, though - it's referred to in the readme, but I only saw the .tex file for it.
@greenman @fontra the point size refers to the block of lead the letter form was carved onto. The letters themselves vary widely from typeface to typeface. This has carried over into digital typefaces.
Heads up – our advice to customers looking to forward their mail reliably to Gmail has been to use the "Check mail from other accounts" feature. Google are removing that feature in Jan '26 https://support.google.com/mail/answer/16604719?hl=en

@yora that slanted crossbar on the lowercase E is a dead giveaway of a Venetian or "old-style" typeface. The question mark is very distinctive, but if you search for Venetian free, there are quite a few.
