@gwocher Hi Greg, all you have to do I believe is to head to techopolis.social, and create an account. Then, log in to iaccessibility.social and go to your preferences. There are settings to migrate your profile. This will allow you to bring over your followers but not your posts. Mastodon does not have a method for moving posts unfortunately.
@robini71 I think Lauren will do a fantastic job with iAccessibility. There are just so many projects that I (Michael) am working on, and I determined that I need time for myself sometimes, so I know it will be in very capable hands.
@robini71 Thanks for the recomendation Robin. There are so many great servers out there. We are moving our account there for discoverability, but server choice is the nice thing about Mastodon.
Please let us know if you have any questions, and we will make sure the transition is seemless, and as painless as possible. (2/2)
This is Michael again on behalf of iAccessibility. One Announcement I'd like to give is that we are unfortunately going to need to shut down the iaccessibility.social server. We will be moving this account to mastodon.social, and we will keep the server online until we've determined that all of our users have migrated to new servers. I would encourage everyone to either check out mastodon.social, techopolis.social, or any other Mastodon server that looks interesting. (1/2)
Hello everyone. This is Michael posting for iAccessibility today, and I have some exciting news. @[email protected] will be taking over the opperations at iAccessibility. She will also be the main host of the #iACast, and I am sure she will be making a lot of changes at the website. I will still be around, but will be taking an advisory role to help Lauren out. We will also have more announcements as things happen, so stay tuned. Also, please feel free to ask us any questions.
