@hyphae like, if you've literally ever worked in a restaurant you know that shit happens and mistakes get made and you can't just fire the 17 year old busser for giving a togo order to the wrong person one time. especially when they've been an otherwise fantastic worker. shit happens, it's just a part of doing business. it's shocking i know but people learn from their mistakes. training a new employee from scratch is gonna cost you a lot more and they'll give worse service until they get with the flow than the person you fired over fukin nothing. this isn't even a deep analysis. it's very simple actually.
