I like the overall look of Threads but user experience is still quite terrible. Timeline is an absolute mess. I don't know what's happening there. Sorting is impossible.
Discoverability is going to be irksome if that's your focus.
I see this as more of an instagram news cast from the user to followers without needing to make stories with some solid colored bg with text on it.
It's a basic app without much fluff to it.
Overall Mastondon and Twitter are definitely still "better."
