Worth repeating: Claims of "AI" democratizing anything (coding, creative endeavors, etc) are always BS. The thing locking out people from doing that is not having the time/resources.

You want to democratize coding/art/creativity? Give people paid time off to do it and access to infrastructure. Easy.

"Tech is no longer a science; it’s about selling faith-based software. An anti-intellectual environment pointing to the future with promises of productivity and gold, anywhere from in the next year to after we die. Its true measure of success lies not in what people can do with the products, but how the products can shape people’s reality."

tbh, it's incredibly rude that there's just this constant button float on the edge of whatever I'm doing, claiming that a robot could do it better
@leaverou Inside out, because I put on clothes that way and not by what other people might see first.
Stop A/B testing every fucking thing. You don't need to do a fucking study to know that link underlines are expected and useful. You don't need to commission research to work out if making radio buttons look like checkboxes will make people want to defenestrate you. You don't need to A/B test whether a thing that DOESN’T LOOK LIKE ITSELF will fucking confuse people. It's self-evident.
