Why do people say you "choose" a political ideology? If I could "choose" my political ideology I'd love to just be able to say I'm a 'back to brunch' liberal who's happy Joe's in the white house and could turn my brain off for four years but like... I couldn't live with myself if I did that.
Politics are the intersection between emotion and logic

This is exploited by far right types by promising to return to a "good old days"
(hoots and hollers accompany the cheers)
This particularly entices young men and thus, by effect, harms non men
(people begin to stand while appluading)
Therefore, the left should help create healthy and positive alternatives for young men
(mass booing ensues, tomatoes thrown, people begin rushing the stage)
