@MrMeritology I liked you article and thank you for the dragon king reference below! I personally think the black swan metaphor is just that a way to condense some type of understanding into something easier to digest - just a bit lossy and easy to abuse (like the password gets leaked example). I'd be curious to see what Taleb's opinion on this is - did he ever have one?
