@bert_hubert as a engineer I can say this is true.
While standard services like S3 (object storage) are commodity and easy replacable, providers as AWS offer a lot of additional "added value" with integrations who are not so commodity and specific to that provider.
The problem for companies though, is that they often solve a real problem for them and as there are not a lot of (open) alternatives its a easy choice for them.

Zo doen ze geen DNSSEC (specifiek van jou verwacht ik dat dat bovenaan je lijstje staat ;-)) en doen ze geen IPv6.
