Alright folks. Now that I've got a sense for what's what on Mastodon, I've decided to move from mastodon.online to hachyderm.io.

RIP my old toots or whatever (I don't think they're coming with me). May they live forever in your heart.

@colindean next step in the plan
OH "externality as a service"

@jess I rented this traffic cone out to my former landlord for $5. lol #entrepreneurship

and then I suspect it will make its way to my office, as part of a vibrant backdrop for livestreams, etc. ðŸĪŠ

@laurence I found this image (from 2017!) when I was digging through my Twitter archive last night... My beliefs about what I would be doing 5 years in the future were hilariously misinformed. 😂

@laurence That sounds frustrating. Most processes like this aren't honest... in the sense that what people say they are for (career planning) is not what they actually do (e.g., help a manager who is overcommitted have talking points for your one-on-ones, or perhaps to help them tell the right kind of story to help you secure a promotion).

It's infuriating. But it can also be helpful self-reflection if you take a good hard look at what you do. "We are what we repeatedly do..."

@gdinwiddie what I appreciate most here is the alt text (also lol, tiger balls)

DAMN. It was GREAT.

It's been a playful lil' dream of ours, and I'm so glad we made it happen! Just a smol coffee station in our bedroom with a cheap coffee maker that has a timer. Little joys!

@kim_lindhard a totally new wondrous technology — a $35 coffee maker with a timed start functionality! 😄 And now we have a little coffee station in the bedroom!
@pruvisto Thanks so much for making this! Helped getting started in the fediverse so much easier. 🙏 Is there a way to buy you coffee or similar as a way to say thanks?
