As a keel stepped mast, it needs to be raised and then lowered through a hole in the deck.
Managed to finish gin-pole shears and install the mast today. All went well.
Next will take on tuning and figuring out how the sails were rigged.

Pine Tar was highly valued for it's ability to preserve wood.
In the early 1800's around 180,000 barrels of tar were produced in Stockholm's pine kilns.
Except for the deck, all the hull and topside painting is done.

The first coats of linseed oil go on diluted 50/50 with pure turpentine and reducing the amount of turpentine with every coat.
Sufficient drying in between it slowly begins to fill the wood.
Am a big fan of Allbäck products I'm using their Purified Raw Linseed Oil.
