Zenti Meditation App

A simple meditation timer app.

Toggles for showing and hiding sections of a workflow builder. Made the hit targets the same size as the buttons so the lines are easy to click. Hover state works on the same hit area giving you visual feedback that the sections can be toggled. Worked with @bsteph on this.

Made a little bouncy SVG loading animation. This was my first time actually writing pure SVG animation code instead of using a library. Was surprised at how easy/powerful it is. This article from @SaraSoueidan was super helpful https://css-tricks.com/guide-svg-animations-smil/. Check out the code here: https://codepen.io/patrickhill/pen/MWZMLbo

A Guide To SVG Animations (SMIL) | CSS-Tricks

Update December 2015: At the time of this update, SMIL seems to be kinda dying. Sarah Drasner has a guide on how you can replace some of it's features.

@taimar @chrisonline would it help if you could toggle the error summary like this? Could actually be more helpful on mobile because you can quick reference all the errors and navigate to them. But, it does take up more space.

Trying to decide between error message summary format.

First has message at top. Page would scroll up on form submit.
Second has message show right above buttons.
Button container sticks to bottom of screen on scroll.
I like the message showing right above buttons because you'd see it right where you clicked but concerned it would cover too much of the page, especially on mobile.

cleaned it up a bit with an xacto knife. The rounded corner isn't perfect but much nicer overall
Love these mini totebooks from Studio Neat but they aren't as pocketable as I'd like. Took some tin shears to them and now they're perfect 😄

Working on Ul for an API request log. Trying to keep the list concise and scannable with an option to see full response.

Upgraded to Sonoma and got meditation progress widgets on my desktop without writing a line of code 🥳 https://zenti.app

Been prototyping a stacked modal UI with @bsteph A modal on a modal isn't usually the best idea but for certain edge cases it can come in handy. Here we're trying to keep spatial awareness and smoothly transition between different states to keep users from getting disoriented.
