We don't need to buy a Sun NAS server, we have one at home

The Sun NAS server at home:

@atpfm I have a new macMini and I actually like the headphone jack in the front. While I don't actually intend to use it as I have a haedphone dac/amp.

I don't think this is what they were thinking of for the 3.5 jack though.

I agree on this one I think the front is the best option probably in this case.

Turns out it was the logi Options app.

Not sure at all how that got enabled😡

Does anyone know what this app is. It just appeared. I've been looking through Activity monitor and startup apps.

@AudiophileMan I recently had my Topping D90 go out and wanted to replace it. Is there a DAC/AMP (preamp) all in one around $900ish that is "as good as" the D90d/A90d stack?

I feel like at the price of the D90d replacement I can get a decent all-in-one but I could be wrong.

In this whole Wordpress debacle the one thing that seems really weird from a OSS license/trademark perceptive is having a tool that is open source where you can't use the name of the tool.

like I can't imagine Kubernetes not being able to be used in the EKS naming for licensing/trademark reasons.

If Amazon is paying for a trademark and I just don't understand this I'm sorry.

OK I think I found it:

Hopefully this cleans some of this stuff up.

Haven't logged in over here in a while ... can you mute things here?

Like I'm really not trying to see any political toots of any sort!
