I'd like to change the pedals on my bike, but I don't have a long enough tool to generate the torque required. Annoying.
I'm tempted to buy GPSoftware's Directory Opus, but only a year's worth of updates seems a bit stingy, doesn't it?
Well a few days ago we found the screws for the piano stand while looking for something else. Strangely they were in a box under the sink, I'd not thought to look for them there :)
Yesterday I found an 80s Rotring .5mm pencil I thought I'd lost, while looking for something else. Today I found the head torch I haven't seen since moving house three months ago, while looking for something else. I hope tomorrow I find the screws for the piano stand, also missing for three months, while looking for something else.
I was voted in as Group Controller again.
Me, the thirteenth duke of Wybourne, with my reputation? What were they thinking?!
Only joking. I'm going to stuff this mesh networking thing in the bin, though. Mesh networks with massive tech stacks have no place in resilient, emergency comms systems. Don't think you can change my mind.
This could be interesting, came across it by accident.
Been in the new place a week now. Still got a load of things to move and sort out but the main things are all done - except I've nowhere to put any radios in my office :(
Moving day part 1 completed successfully, I'm pretty tired. Play time with this Portapack H2+ with HackRF One clone which came yesterday. Interesting thing.
I'm a fair weather cyclist I have to admit, but I'm looking forward to getting out on this cross-country again. I had it fully serviced in July by a lovely local guy, and fitted new tyres and tubes a month later. It's 18 years old now. Retro-cool Rock Lobster Team Ti.
I'm not sure anyone does drum and bass better than Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, or Venetian Snares.
