@heikomat except when you look at their release announcements (like https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/406938450/google-pixel-update-february-2026 for this month) you don't see the pixel 7 lineups and everything before that. Just the 7a which released later.

My best guess is that Google moved my device over to a yearly or maybe quarterly release cycle.

@tizilogic last security update is December 5th! Checking for updates says I'm "up to date" even though newer pixel devices have had 2 monthly updates since.

My phone (Google Pixel 7 pro) is almost 3 years old and I just realized it hasn't gotten any updates for a while now. Checked on the Google support pages and indeed none of the updates for the last few months lsit it anymore. Gotta love a phone that works perfectly fine not getting any updates 🙃.

@chaphasilor there were plans to start a 0.20 beta but I've since scrapped that. I didn't enable the warning just for fun.

@chaphasilor also I don't mind people asking about release timelines, if I can/want to answer I do. The harassment is more towards people calling me an incapable developer or not caring about users etc. for showing a warning about a breaking change coming in MONTHS so don't get surprised with an app update that no longer connects to your server.

Version 0.19.7 of @jellyfin for Android TV is now available for Google Play beta testers and will be available for everyone (including Amazon Appstore users) in the coming days.

This version fixes a few playback related issues and improves right-to-left support on the home screen.
