What kind of black magic does #Spotify use to track what messages you send to contacts through the intents API (Android) to other apps and connect that back to a contact in their in-app messaging? The contact isn't associated to Spotify contacts locally, but somehow it gets access either through email or phone number. When did Spotify get access to my contacts and when did I consent to my contact being used likewise?

Ford is marketing a pro van with an "innovative" steering wheel that reclines horizontally, examples being working on a laptop, and eating on the go. I'm conflicted on this vision of the future present.

On one hand, good design recognizes real-world needs: drivers' short breaks likely force them to eat whenever, wherever.

On the other hand, is it okay to sit on the same seat working, driving, eating on the road?

Removing friction formalizes conventions and turns them into norms. Should we?
