Chicken Watch week 2
Ali and Dom's 5 ex battery girls seemed more confident as they strutted around their new home. Their recovery still has a long way to go though. Their crowns might have been a bit brighter, but they still fairly bedraggled and floppy. Their new feathers with take time to grow, and so they'll have to put up with their bald patches for a while yet.
The main thing is that they're alive and content and are not gong back to the hell-hole of battery farming.
My friends have rescued 5 ex-battery girls. I intend to sketch them each week. Today I found them outside in the fresh air, scratching around in the dirt, living a life unimaginable from anything they've known until yesterday.
