What has been done this year is quite impressive. It's rather mind-boggling the number of complex systems that comprise our city's infrastructure. It's easy to lose sight of the big picture when certain details aren't meeting your desires, but not much attention is paid to all the things that are working well. Let's take this time to appreciate the civil servants who work hard for us and make this city run.
