@anarchaeopteryx In the first room/cave you encounter at the end of the straightish stretch at the beginning, there is a sparkly note. It gives a hint as to which colour the coral is that time. :)

But, I don't know. Complaining about it seems a lot like complaining about a business having a webpage, say, 10 years ago. Yes, there were people who didn't have internet (and some that still don't today). But if the majority of their potential customer base has it, why would they cater to a very small minority that doesn't.

@Tattooed_mummy @hex @jaytom Huh, that's strange. I generally see a slimmed down version of their FB page. Some of the posts are clearly not visible, but I can see the important info with the about section. Usually, anyway.

@shanaqui Oh, I am with you on that one. I wish DESPERATELY there had been something to teach me these things so I would have known rather than being humiliated into giving up the game for months before a friend talked me into trying again, with his help this time.

@Tattooed_mummy @hex @jaytom And yet most people can actually visit the FB page without having an actual account. I know, I did it a lot when I deleted my FB acount (thank you, stalker). Most business pages are public and can be seen without a FB account.

@shanaqui It would be a lot better if Squeenix would provide a lot better ideas what that stuff is for new people. It took me... far too long to learn about some of them. And in spite of the wonderful reputation the community for FFXIV has, there's a LOT of people that would rather stay silent or even mock new people instead of, you know, actually explaining what it is. Because they're always in too much of a hurry to take the time.
