My next (and also the last) class of today is Basics of Biochemistry. For me, it’s a gigantic challenge because I’finished high school in 1990 and I was terrible in Chemistry, despite of being really great in Biology, but it’s not the same science. It’s like someone dropped me by parachute over a country where I’ve never been before whose people speak a language that I cannot understand, with many sounds that I’m not able to reproduce written on a very strange alphabet, but I need to survive in.

Despite the fact that I’m a very educated person, I’m terribly ignorant about many diferent areas. It’s very honest and trully humble to admit it because it’s the best way to keep leaening and respecting the hard work of the vast majority of the people living in wealthy urban areas.
