Could hear some bird noises that didn't sound familiar in my neighbourhood. Confused. Then I remembered that I had the Collins St falcons livestream open in another browser.
@Molk @stufromoz I worked in a servo in the mid-90s. One night our tanks were low, so put the price up to 99.9c to discourage people coming in until the tanker arrived later that night. 99.9c would have people lined up down the street now!

Dog/house sitter we'd booked for our weekend away next week hasn't responded to messages either through the website or via text for the last three days. Madly trying to find someone else before I cancel them.
SaraMGThe lesson to take from the big layoffs at Twitter and Facebook is this: "The job will never love you back." No matter how much effort you put in, no matter how clever you are, no matter how long you've committed yourself to $COMPANY, when push comes to shove, you're just a replaceable part in the machine.
Keep your weekends and your evenings. Leave your bugs at work. Your time is for you, and your boss won't send you flowers.
