My fav handheld was a Platinum GBA SP and have fond memories playing Minish Cap.

MC feels like a game that could be built with JS by a hobbyist developer today.

Wouldn't it be amazing if the Chromatic ModRetro supported JS games?! I bet it won't but perhaps Lua will be an option then I won't feel like my adventures in Lua with the Playdate will wasted. The Playdate screen is far too dark me and I had to play via the mirror on my desktop; defeats the purpose.
