1 year ago I took this pic. I think back to my view of my life at that time, and all the insanity that has come since then, and all I can think about now is the naïveté about the future, the frustration to come, and eventually the peace on the other side. Look, it hasn’t been nor is it now perfect, but for all the turmoil and uncertainty since then, I’ll still take now over then.
I really don’t know how we ended up with the sweetest ever kitten but she sure is.
Antibiotics are working. Her cough is less awful, she has a lot more energy, and ate an entire can of food on her own today. She is on the mend!
Meet Fluff (name not yet final). Our daughter turned 9 today and wanted a kitten. This is cat #3 in the house so let’s hope the elder ones will accept the youngster.
@scalzi we joked that at least our daughter didn’t pick Fluffy, otherwise we would need to finally learn how to spell that your way.
