Sometimes the bread comes out extra pretty.
This is a no knead bread, even though it pretty much looks and tastes like a mild sour dough.
About a third rye, rest is whole grain wheat.
Nom.
Finally on my way back home from @[email protected]. Still pretty much in the processing stage after this very special conference. This may warrant a longer writeup later on.

Isle of Ruby, in its simplest form, is a Ruby conference. We aspire though to create something bigger — a festival of sorts. A festival for our craft — for technology and for Ruby, our programming language of choice. Technology does not exist in a vacuum. While Isle of Ruby wants to be a Ruby conference, it also wants spur on members of our community to consider how the work we do affects the world around us. We invite Rubyist to talk on projects and experiences among those lines and we will bring in people from other programming communities and disciplines to help us explore some of these questions.
After balancing on sheets of ice on Hamburgs cycle paths and then changing into the fully cleared but scary road, this tweet makes me weep in jealousy.
The cold irony: Most cycle paths in Hamburg can't be de-iced with salt due to ecological regulation.
