Vehicle sales slip in July as rains dampen demand
By Justine Irish D. Tabile, Reporter NEW VEHICLE SALES declined in July, as bad weather disrupted retail operations, a joint report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed. The CAMPI-TMA report showed new vehicle sales fell by 2.6% to 38,295 units in July from 39,331 units in the same month a year ago.
