Well... that's just weird. I'm sorry. I wish I could help more.
@archer72
Did you recently install a new harddrive? I was just reading an Intel log about exceeding the maximum HDD capacity for the old BIOSes.
@archer72
Oh that's a pentium machine! You shouldn't have any problems with it... so did you say this happened on a fresh install? Because that is extra weird if so... that might require help from AlienBob or the Benevolent Dictator himself!
@archer72
Oh that's weird. I've had that happen when I misconfigured LiLo, but if you're getting a BIOS warning, I am not sure that it's a LiLo problem. What computer is it?
@archer72
Have you asked it on Linux Questions?
@Rasp
I'm at 80,000 words and don't know if I should cut the first book off here or continue. It feels like the first act of a three act play is finished, but perhaps each book should be a three act book. I'm just not sure.
@Cronurd
You see, I'm currently writing a book and I came to a point where I could end book one. Like the end of the first act, but I'm not sure if I should. I'm currently at 80,000 words, which is roughly 250-300 pages. It feels like I've only just introduced the world that I'm building.

I have a question to the people who love to read. When reading a series of books, do you prefer short books or long books?

(I hate asking, but if you could boost this for reach, I would appreciate it)
