An engineer. President of the Polish Union of Former Political Prisoners of Nazi Prisons and Concentration Camps. A member of the International Auschwitz Council.

During the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, he said:

"I remember living, naked women being transported by trucks from the barracks to the gas chamber. I still hear their screams in my subconscious when I return in my thoughts to those events."
