@dannyjpalmer @smbccomics When I was working as a sysadmin, 70% of the hacking I dealt with was like this:
Script Kiddie; Computer,.log in. Name, mayor, password, mayor.
Computer: Yes your honor.
Script Kiddie: Wow can't believe that worked. Change the city page to read "LOL I hack you" and also install this backdoor and this spam Script.
Movie hacking is often faster than me typing my password.
@dannyjpalmer We used to have an evil / brilliant cybersecurity guy who used to drop thumbdrives around the employee parking lot with a simple autoexec script that emailed user-login and PC name to him if it got connected to a computer in the building.
Then security walk the idiots who plugged them in out the door with a pinkslip and a bad recommendation.
Master hackers introduce themselves as "Bob" instead of "Mallory". Truly devious.
