For ✨ personal reasons ✨ I’ve had to start monitoring my blood glucose, so I’ve been wearing a CGM. Inspired by pydexcom, I'm announcing three open source projects today:

It's my sincere hope that this series helps a lot of folks move their iOS-only apps onto the Mac. It's a great platform and there are lots of customers who appreciate well-crafted work.

Cursed custom mastodon instances:

* Babelodon: Sends all toots on a trip through machine translation to several random languages then back to the original before posting
* MLodon: users can't post anything directly, they can only provide prompts for AI which writes text and generates images for them
* Binodon: Content length limit zero, you can only toot or not toot
* Mastadon: every spelling mistake you make is automatically propagated to all future toots
* Ohshitodon: hits the send button on half completed toots at random. They can't be edited or deleted
* Muskodon: every toot gets reply-guyed by an AI trained on Elon's tweets
* Dontomast: toots are posted after a random delay, in a random order
* QTdon: only QTs allowed
* Unpopudon: every favorite or boost (including from other instances) locks the poster's account for an hour
* Mustodon: you must toot every six hours or your account gets deleted
* Birdsite: only accessible via RFC 1149
* Hell: cat pics allowed, but automatically marked sensitive and the original never loads
