I run a local group called Creatives Club DC! We meet every Thursday on the National Mall. Artists of all types & skill levels welcome!
I think art in the sciences is important & I'm on a journey to join these two things through #drawing, #poetry, #zines, & #CreativeCoding!
Creatives Club DC + Temperance Alley Garden meetup 6 - 9 pm this Thursday (9/14)!
Some folks will be playing music, so bring your instrument if you have one! Otherwise you're welcome to bring another project to work on. Feel free to bring picnic blankets, food, drinks, bug spray, etc.
The garden is located by the I St Metro stop in the alley between 12th & 13th and T & U St NW. See the second photo for an entrance map.

DC Zinefest is hosting a zine swap event at Fantom Comics this Sunday (6/25) at 2 pm!
This will be a take a zine and/or leave a zine event, so you don't need to bring zines to participate!
