📢 Ten Forward Moderation Announcement 📢

The following instance(s) have been suspended from Ten Forward:

ioc.exchange - a transphobic user was not moderated despite a report and me reaching out to the admin directly via DMs.

the user and post in question - hxxps://ioc.exchange/@gewure/109811032931084137

CW for blatant transphobia. It's bad.

I am attaching a screenshot of my DM conversation with the admin.

Hell right now, administrators cannot perform instance moderation actions like silencing and suspending instances for multiple instances at once.

Every time I have to suspend multiple instances, I have to fill out and submit this form *each* time individually.

This is quite frankly fucking embarrassing for a piece of social software that has been around for as long as it has.

went to the IMDB page for Star Trek: Discovery to check something and saw this powerful photo of Nichelle Nichols and Sonequa Martin-Green

To Boldly Go: The Women of "Star Trek"

From the beginning, "Star Trek" (/title/tt0060028/) (1966) has embraced diversity, multi-culturalism, and inclusion, breaking barriers and making television history. Sonequa Martin-Green (/name/nm2792296/) steps into the role of Michael Burnham, the central character of "Star Trek: Discovery (/title/tt5171438/)" (2017), and the first African American woman in a leading role in the "Star Trek" universe. Women have played key roles throughout the "Star Trek" franchise on TV. Let's take a look at the women of "Star Trek" throughout the years.
