Before we won our playoff games including the national championship, we beat Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship. When you look back on the season, you find the blowouts but also see the tight games, Iowa, Penn State, Ohio State. It was these games that gave us the strength to not panic in the national championship game when Miami would not give up.

Lucy was diagnosed with diabetes today. She is starting with a pill twice a day. If she doesn't improve, then she will go on insulin. The vet was hopeful she would respond to the medication.

Happy 11th Birthday to Lucy! Lucy continues to evolve more than any of our other cats. This year she likes to have conversations with us. She’s always been a good listener, but now she has a lot to say.
